  • It is important to disconnect your appliance from the power supply before servicing. Unscrew the back bottom plate, unplug the fan motor, and slide the housing out. You will need a Philips screwdriver to unscrew the motor housing and access the motor. Carefully remove the fan blade and motor, which can be hot to touch, and install the new motor with the old blade. Plug in and test the unit before putting the back panel on. The fan will not start right away. 10 to 20 seconds after the compressor starts the fan motor should activate.
